Leilani Gryde to Appear on FUEL TV’s “The Daily Habit”

etnies Girl team surfer Leilani Gryde will appear on Fuel TV’s “The Daily Habit” this Monday, May 28, at 9 p.m. EDT (6 p.m. PDT). Leilani will join host Pat Parnell in the studio to talk about her surfing roots in Kona, Hawaii, recent travels, and experiences from her second year as a pro surfer.

Now living in Orange County, Calif., Leilani is ranked in the top 10 on the Association of Professional Surfers (ASP) World Qualifying Series (WQS) Tour and is currently competing in the 2007 WQS. Born and raised in Kona, Hawaii, she began surfing at 11 years old and in 2002 attained her first major accomplishment by becoming the National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA) National Champion. This summer, Leilani will follow the WQS Tour in hopes of making the ASP World Championship Tour (WCT) in 2008. An international globe trotter, her passion for surfing has taken her around the world in the past year to Australia, Indonesia, Brazil, South Africa and Costa Rica.
