Fitzgibbons Defeats Beachley to Advance to Round 3!

Oakley Wildcard Trialist winner and etnies Australia distributor rider Sally Fitzgibbons (Aus) caused major upset during Round 3 of the NAB Beachley Classic on Tuesday when she defeated 7-time ASP World Champion, Layne Beachley (Aus), to advance directly into Round 3.
Fitzgibbons posted the highest individual wave score of the day, an 8.50 (out of 10.00) and looks set to be a serious threat in the upcoming rounds.
