In support of youth empowerment, etnies hooked up with the good folks at Hopeless/Sub City Records to sponsor this year's Take Action! Tour. The annual charity music tour kicks off this February featuring Every Time I Die, From First, The Bled, August Burns Red and The Human Abstract and will benefit Do Something, a national not-for-profit that gives teens the means (to the tune of $500 grants) to improve their world. Empowered by MySpace Impact, the Hot Topic Foundation and Hopeless/Sub City Records, the Take Action! grants will focus on Poverty, Music, Education or any other cause young people are passionate about. Instead of telling young people what cause they should get involved with, Do Something asks them “What’s your something?” and then gives them the information, resources and grant-money to make change that matters to them.
